Pathology- The scientific study of diseases ( Greek pathos=suffering,logos=study) follows the disease process from its inception to its termination and investigates the changes produced.
It is the study of Structural, Biochemical and Functional changes in cells,tissues and organs that underlie diseases.
It serves as a bridge between Basic Sciences and Clinical Medicine and is the scientific foundation for all of medicine, providing a rational basis for clinical care and therapy.

To deliver the highest quality Pathology Diagnostic services which are precise,accurate and timely aiding in patient diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. The Department of Anaesthesiology at Government Medical College, Omandurar, is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed to provide exceptional care and support for patients. Our modern operation theatres feature advanced anaesthesia workstations, sophisticated monitoring systems, and modular designs to ensure precision and safety during procedures.
